Coerver Cup Weather/Rainout Policy Coerver has a 10 mile lightning radius...if lightning strikes within 10 miles of our current location, using Spark in the Weather Bug App, we clear the fields until the most recent strike is further than 10 miles from our current location. The fields are cleared for a minimum of 30 minutes. Each time there is a strike within 10 miles the 30 minute delay clock starts over. When you clear the fields you need to clear to your vehicle and not remain under tents. If there is just rain we will continue to play as long as the rain conditions are still safe. . This may mean some games are shortened, counted as played or other result as deemed fair to the event at the point the weather happened. If the weather results in a delay of more than 1 hour the remainder of the event will be cancelled and a partial refund will be offered. However, if 50% of the games in your division have been played in full there will be no refund. If this is a final event we will continue through Sunday until the event is completed. Upon the restart to avoid confusion please only have your teams coach come to the tent to find out when you will play and how the restart will be handled. Please be aware that we will be watching the weather carefully and if you hear a repeated triple whistle or horn please clear the field immediately.
