School soccer in the midlands is growing, and the JV teams are inundated with players looking to represent their schools. We are expanding this opportunity for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders to have a round robin format, allowing them to showcase their abilities against one another.

The series is intended to give soccer players and enthusiasts a chance to play. we at Coerver believe in periodization and encourage teams to practice sparingly, if at all. Most, if not all, participants will have other extracurriculars. We hope the teams are a chance to play in a fun, recreational manner, rather than a large commitment.  

Coerver Coaching Carolinas will be the host of this program. This is not a SCHSL or SCISA endorsed program, all teams will be governed under the Coerver Coaching Carolinas rules and regulations for the CMSSS, which will consist of these elements:

Middle School Participants Only, and 6th graders zoned for the middle school
Games on Wednesday or Fridays through March and April 
Round Robin Format estimated 4-8 game schedule. 
We will have Boys and Girls Brackets.   
Registering Coach will invite players. 
Practices are not recommended due to Travel Soccer and other conflicts but are not restricted or monitored. 
Potential for a Championship Tournament.
1 center Coerver official/referee
25 Minute Halves 
11 v 11, normal FIFA rules
$50 Per Player
No school jerseys to be worn
Teams to be named after their mascot

If any school has the ability to host games, finances will be paid for field use.

Founding teams will each hold a spot on the advisory committee for the CMSSS moving forward. These persons will meet bi-annually to guide any rules and regulations that need to be put in place.

With all Coerver operations, we enforce the Coerver Code, which is an honor policy, based on sportsmanship and the spirit of the game.
